What have you been doin...this weekend???

So what has everyone else been doing this weekend? I'm here waiting for Cimo to arrive for our evening appointment..lol..

For my weekend, I have been self indulgent and had an over due art appointment with myself.. this current pic was inspired by Julie-ann check out her art at the link. http://heavenleighart.blogspot.com/

So this little mermaid is not finished, its only half way through, i keep changing my mind about colours.... i think im colour challenged as well as a mute blogger.. i certainly have some challenges this week..lol...
Hope yours was a great one...

I love the vibrant colors, it's alive and beautiful! You have a true gift and I agree that maybe you are too critical of your own work. It's like me and my writing (not blog writing that doesn't count! lol), I write something and then edit, think about it come back and edit again if if time permits I'll edit about ten more times then hand it in, then I think of something else I'd like to have changed... I can drive myself crazy writing this way so sometimes I write my papers purposefully one or two days before they are due and save myself the headache!

Hope your week is a good one, I'm so happy that we get a bonus day off this week, Remembrance Day is on Wednesday. This just might give me a chance to play a bit of catch up after a few wonderful days off!

Hi, I got your comment OK thanks for it. I would love to see one of your baskets with beads included. I really like your Mermaid, make sure you show us her finished. Although to my untrained eye she looks finished already. Good work keep it up.

I love your little mermaid! Isn't Julie-ann the best? I love her, too!

And thank you for your kind comment on my blog. It was just lovely, and I know just what you mean. No worries.

This is a beautiful mermaid. Wow, I feel so honored. When coming over to see you here, I never expected this, thank you!
You have created her so dreamy and romantic looking. She does look so happy curled up lovingly.
