Mega Post

Howdy....

I figure I can say that coz its the afternoon. Afraid I'm mute blogging AGAIN... but now know the cause  - Its called dial up! From prehistoric times, yes.. yes .. yes.. I know how do I survive? Well I am over it, and about to do something about it.

So for comments regarding the Mermaid painting, Thank you all so much, I do appreciate all your feedback Don't know why I get so jittery putting things up. I had tried to respond to your comments individually but the computer nearly danced off the balcony, not healthy behaviour - compromise! The MEGA POST... ( Dull isn't it - I bore myself sometimes..)

The Mermaid painting has stalled coz i started a sculpture of her... ( I am not procrastinating either, this is the artistic process; its only procrastinating if i have to clean the oven) so looks like a series is developing.

So heres  her almost complete, she is made of paper clay.  So thats what i have been doing in between  getting icecream and painkillers for Yaz.

Yaz is slowly recovering... and thank you everyone who sent along hugs and best wishes, she certainly appreciated it. Will be nice to have my bubbly girl  back, its a little quite around here.
I had before and after shots of her of the surgery on my new phone but no adaptor to get it off... All this technology drives me around the bend some days...

Also, if you have a spare 2 minutes check out the Mona lisa video Cimo placed on here, its crazy....(if you have anything faster than Dial up that is). Leornardo would roll over in his grave...if he was born today he would be the most awesomest  Graphic Artist...  maybe even a Graffitti Artist.. I could see this elderly gentleman stenciling walls signing "Leo was here" .
yes, i noticed my english language is falling apart ... ( Most 4 year olds would agree - It should be a word)

Enough lamo from me... i have some blogs to visit ( sadly it will be mute)...   :(

Amazing skills

here is a video I believe most art fans would enjoy, simply amazing skills
painting the MONA LISA with MS paint, the little stupid painting software that comes with Microsoft windows

Finally rid of those darn Tonsils!!!!

Heeellllllooooo..
I am back after spending two days in the hospital with Yaz ( youngest daughter) She finally had her tonsils and anoids removed. A fairly straightforward operation these days, but geeze it never stops a parents anguish, no matter how old they are. We were told to go in at 11 am but she didn't get her operation until around 5pm. She was scared silly but she made friends with other young lady who was getting the same op, and who was bored silly too. They spent some time annoying nurses, playing with the mechanics of the bed, complaining and  pretending to be jellyfish...
though after the op i told them they looked more like  washed up plastic bags...  Poor loves...
They were both moved from the original ward after the operation, (yes they lost our children)  and were finally delivered in the maternity ward. Both young ladies are now home, WITHOUT any babies...lol...

Mute Blogging

Hi everyone,
I am having some blogging issues, i can't reply to my comments, or comment on your sites, i have been sailing around mute blogging,( my term - probably means something else) and i'm soooo frustrated. Occasionally it lets me gggrrrr.....  Cimo whose the techno one in the family can't see whats wrong either, and its doing it too him as well... Ive just cleared the cookies so i'm hoping its just that...

Hey Davine, I m sorry not been rude this is why i cant reply, or comment on your blog. your son is still across the country, i use to live in Darwin not so long ago, i didn't think it would bother me, been so far from my family, but i felt so isolated. I think because i was up there on my own is what was the real issue. Even though i made some fantastic friends while up there...

At least you get to visit him in the cold dreary Melbourne winters, when its perfect in Cairns.  Im sure its a tropical paradise, i haven't been there myself. One day... hopefully..

Darlene - i really love the new table setting you bought very swish, the stools have a Japanese feel to them..

Better post tommorow with hopefully some pics... off to try and comment on your blogs,  not that I'm holding my breath...

Reply to Distance - Darlene

Thanks for dropping by and commenting. so sorry I have to reply like this, darn blog is soooo not behaving, I've been trying for days, even tried opeining another account and replying to ppl's comments and that so didnt work.. Grrrr.. the frustrations of technology...

Darlene, I so think its true love too, we are both so committed and don't go by with out a day of chatting, though we have to rely on the net as the phone lines between here and Morocco are not the best, and we even tried posting each other letters but neither of us received them. If it wasn't for our sense of humours i think we would be crazy by now.

Still 2.5 hours is still not an easy feat to achieve, its so close ( from my standards) but too far to see each other every day. And it takes such a commitment to make time, even if it is 5 minutes on the phone. Farmers are pretty busy ppl, but so are you, like wow only 3 hours  of sleep due to school and studying. Your either crazy or driven...

Studying is really hard yakker, and is so difficult, I was there too a few years ago, and geeze its like running a marathon backwards. I wasn't able to finish, but still i wouldn't have the job i do now without the study i have done. I hope to return to finish one day soon.. lol.. maybe...

Its so nice to meet another striving for their dream, your commited so you will make it, and it will be all the more glorious for it...hopefully its so close you can taste it
Cheers
A'isha
